Hi,we are eating dinner at the River bell Terrace on Thanksgiving, will they be having a turkey dinner?

Welcome back to planDisney, Donald! My wife and I have also spent Thanksgiving Day at the Disneyland Resort in years past, and it truly is a magical way to celebrate. There’s something extra special about walking down Main Street  with the scent of gingerbread in the air, twinkling garlands overhead, and knowing that your holiday meal will be surrounded by that signature Disney magic.

At this time, Disneyland has not released specific details about whether River Belle Terrace will serve a traditional turkey dinner on Thanksgiving Day. In previous years, a few select dining locations have offered limited-time Thanksgiving menus. My best recommendation is to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as it’s the first place to find official updates about seasonal dining offerings (and I’ll admit, their food photos have been known to make me instantly hungry).

That said, there are already a couple of deliciously festive options that have been confirmed. Goofy’s Kitchen at the Disneyland Hotel will once again host a Bountiful Thanksgiving Day Meal, with both brunch and dinner buffet options available, complete with an herb-marinated turkey carving station, all the classic fixings, and appearances by Goofy and his pals dressed for the occasion. Storytellers Cafe at Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel will also be serving a Thanksgiving Day Brunch and Dinner buffet, featuring roasted turkey with sourdough apple stuffing and cranberry sauce. Plus, you’ll be joined by Mickey and friends for a truly heartwarming holiday feast.

If you’re looking for even more festive flavors, head over to Disney California Adventure for the Disney Festival of Holidays. This event celebrates global winter traditions through music, dance, and, of course, plenty of food. You’ll find several turkey-inspired bites at the Festive Food Marketplace, like savory sliders or warm stuffing-inspired dishes. My wife and I always love grazing our way through the kiosks. It’s like a Thanksgiving tasting tour with a Disney twist!

Donald, I hope this helps you plan a Thanksgiving celebration filled with flavor and fun. If more questions pop up as your visit approaches, we at planDisney are always here to lend a helping hand.

Have a magical Thanksgiving at the Happiest Place on Earth!
