Hi we are cruising to the Bahamas in April, we booked a pre-night at the conrad hotel in Miami prior to sailing. My question is does are luggage go from airport to hotel to ship or is it going directly from airport to ship hence never seeing it until sail

    Ahoy Lynn!
Before you know it, you will be leaving all your worries behind for a relaxing Bahamian adventure aboard Disney Cruise Line! Arriving one day prior to your cruise departure will allow your crew to kick off the vacation a little early by enjoying the beautiful city of Miami! A couple of years ago, my family did the exact same thing, and we loved being able to wake up in Miami only a couple of miles from the port! It also makes the first day of your cruise a lot less stressful!  When you arrive at the Miami Airport, you will need to claim your luggage at the carousel. Your driver will most likely be waiting for arriving Disney Cruise Line Guests at Baggage Claim with a sign with family names or a Disney Cruise Line sign. He/she will assist you with your luggage and whisk you away to your hotel. You will need to have your transportation vouchers handy when you arrive at the airport so keep your Guest Travel Booklet with your important documents close by. Upon checking in at the Conrad, let the hotel staff know you are a Disney Cruise Line Guest, so they can give you details on what to expect in regards to your transportation and luggage the following morning. I remember we did not put our Disney Cruise Line luggage tags on our suitcases until we were at the hotel. Once your luggage leaves your sight on departure morning, you will not see it again until you are onboard the ship. It should arrive by 5:00 p.m., but be sure you have a day bag packed with your cruise documents, (transportation vouchers) passports, medications, sunscreen, swimsuits and any other items you may need that afternoon. When my family has used Disney Cruise Line transportation in the past, we are always so pleased with the smooth land to sea transition so I hope your crew experiences the same, Lynn!
Thank you for stopping by with your question! As you continue to plan, please let us know if you think of anything else!
    Have a magical day!
