    Hi we are coming to DW on October 14th and I have been trying to book the Fantasmic Dinner Package at Mama Melros's for the 15th or 16th but those dates do not appear. It does say you can book 180 days in advance, so I am a little confused.

    Hi Tracy! October is a wonderful time to visit Walt Disney World -- lots of special events occur then, such as the Food & Wine Festival at Epcot and Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party at the Magic Kingdom!

    You're right that you can reserve the Fantasmic Dining Package 180 days in advance. Sadly, the Disney online reservation system is not always updated in a timely fashion for this particular event. Fantasmic is scheduled to be performed on Sunday, October 16, so I recommend you call 407-WDW-DINE to reserve a dining package at Mama Melrose's for that night. If you wait until the dates appear on the online calendar, the packages may be all booked up as they're very popular. Sometimes you can manually type the date to reserve a Fantasmic package online even when the calendar is blank, but when I attempted to do that today to check availability for you, it kept reverting back to today's date and wouldn't work. Thus, your best bet is to call Disney Dining to make your Fantasmic Dinner Package reservation for October.
