Hiya Mel!
Welcome to
planDisney, where we love helping Guests like you with answers to their Disney holiday questions. It is lovely to see you here asking a question about your springtime visit to
Walt Disney World next year. I would be happy to help offer you some guidance about changing your existing booking.
A 10-day stay in
Disney’s Wilderness Lodge sounds like the perfect way to spend your
Walt Disney World holiday. I understand why you want to extend your visit to 14 days, especially traveling from the United Kingdom. The ability to change your booking is dependent on a few different factors: how you booked your current reservation and resort availability for the new dates. If you booked a holiday package through the Walt Disney World website, please,
contact a Cast Member by calling 0800 16 90 730 to discuss the options you have for modifying your existing reservation.
If you booked using a
Disney Vacation Club Membership and
Vacation Points, moving your reservation will depend on your
Use Year and when your Vacation Points will expire. If your Vacation Points are the same in April, May, and June (they won’t expire before or during your May travel dates), you will want to check resort availability for the new dates. Split stays are a great way to break up a lengthy vacation, allowing you the opportunity to enjoy different Disney Resorts and the benefits of their location. If you see availability, you can cancel your existing reservation and proceed with booking the new dates.
I highly recommend
reaching out to Member Services at 0800 783 2893 for assistance in navigating the rebooking process to reschedule your vacation. I hope this information helps you book an unforgettable springtime vacation to
The Most Magical Place on Earth! If we can help answer more of your vacation questions, stop back by planDisney any time.
