Hi, we have booked our first cruise and are off to the med for four nights this August. Both of our children are Dyspraxic and hyper mobile, my daughter (8) has borderline Aspurges and my son (13) had ODD. can you advise on provision for special needs??

Welcome aboard, Michael! You are in for a wonderful week of magic when you set sail this summer in the Mediterranean on the Disney Magic!

Disney Cruise Line is happy to accommodate children with special needs. If you have not already, please be sure to note your children's special needs on your reservation. You may want to call the agents at Disney Cruise Line to discuss any other specifics that you're wondering about. Once onboard, if you're considering having your children join in on the fun and excitement in the Youth Clubs, be sure to stop by the clubs during Open House hours that first day. There, you can chat with the counselors about your children and their needs and get more information directly from the counselors about how they can accommodate your children in the activities that take place.

Also, know that there are certain Open House hours in the clubs each day, so even if your kids don't want to stay during secured programming without you, you can stay with them to enjoy the club spaces during Open House hours throughout your sailing.

I hope that gives you a starting point to continue learning about how Disney Cruise Line can work with your kids to ensure that they have just as much fun as anyone else onboard, Michael! Have fun planning this magical cruise!
