Hi,we want to do a B-day cake order for 1of our ADR our group well only be together for 1 meal and its at the Spirit-Aloha I was wondering if you think this dinner well be to busy to do a special cake celebration?should we do it at our DVC the(Poly)CS area

Aloha, Adrian! Is there a better way to celebrate a birthday than at Disney's Spirit of Aloha dinner show, surrounded by your 'Ohana? I think not.

Disney's Spirit of Aloha dinner show is a great place to share your special occasion, and you can absolutely do a specialty cake at the show. It has also been my experience in recent shows that those celebrating a birthday might get asked to join the performers on stage for even bigger birthday recognition. Surrounded by the tropical paradise that is Disney's Polynesian Village Resort, I think it's ideal for a birthday celebration.

Celebration cakes and custom cakes can both be ordered in advance to have them ready for you to enjoy. The celebration cake can be ordered by calling 407-939-3463 at any time, although I would encourage you to remind the people checking you in at the podium that the cake has been ordered.

Special custom cakes must be ordered at least 72 hours in advance. Custom celebration cakes start at about $75, but you can do something more personal to the birthday person. To order these cakes, call 407-827-2253.

I will say that I've had several parties at my Disney Vacation Club villas, and they've all been great fun. I wouldn't recommend the common spaces, as it would be frowned upon by the resort and could be quite messy. If your DVC is one of the bungalows, I say do it there. They're spacious and just built for family fun.

Enjoy a wonderful family vacation, and mahalo for your question!
