Hi Gavin,
I can't think of a better way to start your day at Magic Kingdom than dining with the princesses at
Cinderella's Royal Table. This experience is one of a kind because you get to dine inside Cinderella Castle. An early morning reservation also ensures you get an epic picture in front of the castle before all of the other guests arrive.
The
calendar has Magic Kingdom opening at 8:30 AM for Early Entry on the day you mentioned arriving. This means that the
parking lot at the Transportation and Ticket Center will open one hour before Early Entry begins at 8:30 AM. I have found that the parking lot opens closer to 90 minutes before the theme park opens but that is not guaranteed. You should be able to park by 7:30 AM and jump on the Magic Kingdom Ferryboat. The Ferryboat typically starts running at least 45 minutes before the theme park opens. Your other option is the
Express Monorail which typically begins running 30 minutes before the theme park opens. When you arrive at the Transportation and Ticket Center, I would just take a look to see which option is already transporting guests and head for that one. If the monorail is open, that is usually the quickest option.
You will not be permitted to park at
Disney's Contemporary Resort unless you are a guest of that resort or have an advanced dining reservation at one of the restaurants there. Even with a dining reservation, the expectation is that you will only park during the length of that visit.
Once you arrive at the entrance to Magic Kingdom, look for a cast member holding a sign for early dining reservations and tours. You will head to that entrance and they will escort you into the theme park early so you can make it to your dining reservation. Make sure to take a ton of pictures during breakfast because these are some of our favorite character interactions at Disney World.
Happy Planning,
Jenna
