Hi-Visiting 9/2-9/6 staying at Coronado. My mom has a terminal illness & can't be in the sun for long.I am concerned about getting around the resort.I read that there are 4 flrs in some buildings Are there elevators & assistance to get around for th

I am a big fan of the Coronado Springs resort, and have stayed there many times. I think you will love it!

Yes, the buildings do have elevators. And while this is a very open and airy resort, the overhangs on the walkways are enough in most buildings to provide shade that you are looking for. However I would strongly recommend you ask for  room in the "Casitas" section, where you can walk to/from the main hall under cover the entire way.

By the way, the Casitas are four story, but the Ranchos and Cabanas are just 2 and 3 story buildings.

There is an internal shuttle service run via golf cart as well, so if you just speak with a cast member, they can help you out.

Write me back if you have any follow-up questions!

    Have a magical vacation!
