Hi! Two friends and I want to go to Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party only in September. However, they had already bought tickets to Magic Kingdom during the day. Is there really not an upgrade option besides buying separate? 😞

    Boo to you, Meg!

I'm delightedly dying to welcome you to the most magical – and dare I say spooktacular –  panel on Earth: planDisney! You've officially joined a ghoulishly great crew of Disney-loving spirits. As for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, it holds a special place in my foolish mortal heart. With eerie entertainment, hauntingly delightful treats, and bewitching character encounters, it's a grim-grinning good time I look forward to every year.

Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event at Magic Kingdom, which means you'll need to purchase a special event ticket if you'd like to attend. Regular theme park admission won't grant you access to the party once it begins. But here's a little treat: if you're planning to visit Magic Kingdom during the day on a party night, you might notice the park feels a bit less crowded. Many Guests opt to skip Magic Kingdom on those days unless they're attending the event, which often means shorter wait times for some of your favorite attractions.

In fact, this is one of the reasons my family loves visiting during the Halloween season! We usually plan to experience our must-do attractions during the daytime hours while the crowds are lighter. Then, once the party officially begins at 7:00 PM, we shift our focus entirely to all the exclusive Halloween offerings that make this event so special.

There's so much to enjoy during the party...from entertainment like Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade (the best parade ever in my opinion!) and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular, to trick-or-treating throughout the park. You'll also find select attractions transformed with eerie overlays (like a pitch-black ride on Space Mountain!) and the chance to meet rare characters you won't typically see during regular park hours. It's a frightfully fun night that combines the magic of Disney with just the right touch of spooky!

Meg, I trust this spirited advice helps you prepare for a delightfully frightful evening among the grim grinning ghosts! Should any other questions materialize, feel free to hurry baaaack to planDisney. We're always here...with 999 happy haunts...but there's always room for one more!

    From somewhere beyond,

    Kami
