Hi!Took 3 day Bahama cruise 5 yrs ago & remember 1 or 2 photos taken of us. Now taking a 7 day E. Caribbean cruise, debating prepurchasing a photo package but they are pricey compared to memory maker! Is it worth it? Are there that many good photo ops?

    Ahoy, Nicole!
I have to say that I love this question because after 10 Disney Cruises over the last 10 years, the photos are my most cherished souvenirs! Most of the Disney Cruise Line vacations we've experienced have been seven-night sailings so having photos that document our fun aboard is the best way to preserve the memories we've created over the years. I have them displayed in my home which helps us remember each magical cruise. If you are at all interested, my advice is to go ahead and pre-purchase your photo package online on the mycruisephotos.com website to enjoy some savings. On a seven-night sailing, you'll find ample opportunities to take advantage of having this package and can actual take your first few photos before you embark. Some of your most beloved Disney friends will greet Guests in the terminal beginning around 11:00 a.m. This is always one we love to get because the excitement in our faces is so evident! After your crew boards the ship, you'll want to keep an eye on your Personal Navigator (the daily cruise newsletter) and the Disney Cruise Line Navigator App for the various opportunities which can happen all around the ship. Photographers also make their way around the dining rooms in the evening including Palo and Remy and on Castaway Cay! Some of my favorite pictures from Disney's island paradise are with the characters in their adorable beach attire and with the ship in the background from the beach! When you pre-purchase your package, there is an option for a photo book. I have done this once, but I typically use the photos to create a book on one of the various photo sites online, and my kids always love reliving the magic when they flip through. I also enjoy using them for our annual holiday card! The options are endless, Nicole!
    Have a magical day!
