Hiya, Sandra, and welcome to planDisney! First visits are truly magical at
Walt Disney World Resort, and I'm thrilled for the wonder and awe your kiddos will experience. With your trip just around the corner, let's dive into some ideas for a budget-friendly getaway.
Admission is required to enter any theme park, but the good news is that all the attractions are included in the ticket price. You can
purchase tickets online, through your mobile app, or in person at any theme park entrance. You can also call the
New Tickets line for their suggestions based on your travel dates and party size.
My first tip is to explore the current
Special Offers for theme park tickets and Disney Resort Hotel stays. Check the validity dates, and if you're eligible for any discounts, take advantage of those. The Special 3-Day, 3-Park Ticket is an excellent bargain, but keep in mind that it doesn't allow entrance to Magic Kingdom Park.
I recommend bringing a small cooler with lunch and snacks to save money. You can find picnic tables and benches throughout all four theme parks. Check out the
Property Rules to make sure your items will be allowed. You can also share meals at quick-service locations to save, and don't forget to ask for complimentary cups of ice water!
If theme parks aren't in the budget for this trip,
Disney Springs is a fantastic alternative. When my son was younger, he spent hours at
The LEGO® Store! You might catch a free concert, and the kids can let Stitch squirt at them from atop the World of Disney entrance. And guests of all ages can hop aboard the
Marketplace Train Express for a small fee. Who doesn't love a good locomotive ride?
My final idea is to check availability for a stay at one of the value resorts, such as
Disney's All-Star Music Resort. This resort's fun theming and pools can be a vacation on their own! Look for an activities board in the lobby or near the pool for many complimentary activities, like Movies Under the Stars. You won't have to leave the grounds for a fabulous Disney experience with your family.
Sandra, I hope I've given you some ideas for making this visit as enchanting as possible. The magic truly happens when you create memories with your children. Please

Magic awaits,
Elaine
