Welcome back to planDisney, Mica!
It’s always a delight when you stop by with your questions for us.
My family blasted off into
Space 220 Restaurant at EPCOT just this week, and it was an out-of-this-world dining experience. From the celestial panorama from space to the delicious meal, my little Mouseketeers kept wondering how we could sit and walk rather than fly off as the astronauts were outside our booth’s window!
Mica, during my visit, I inquired a bit about the
Space 220 Lounge and found that the larger tables in this area seat up to four Guests. If you have five Guests, I recommend you break down your party into two smaller groups or make a reservation at the restaurant instead.
As you may know, the regular seating inside the restaurant offers a
prix fixe menu where adult Guests select one of each: Lift-Offs (Appetizer) and Star Course (Entrée). The lounge, however, does not offer the prix fixe menu, and Guests are able to choose whatever their hearts desire from
this menu. You may be wondering which one you should choose. I usually let my stomach guide me! If you feel one menu sounds better than the other, definitely go with trusting your gut. —See what I did there? If you have a group of picky eaters or Guests with smaller appetites, then the lounge is probably the way to go.
Wishing you an enchanting experience, Mica!
