HIstorically, what is MK attendance like on Thanksgiving day? We will be visiting MK that day and have a 3:30 reservation at Ohana? Should we be concerned about being able to get back into the park after Ohana? No park hopper to go to another park. thank

    Hi Chris,

Thanksgiving is one of the busiest days at the Walt Disney World Resorts! It is especially true at the Magic Kingdom because this is the first day all of the holiday decorations will be up at the resort. This means guests want to see them!

This is a tough call. I can see it being filled to capacity in the morning so guests get the first peak at the parade and decorations. I can then see it easing out and then picking back up again once night falls to experience Magic Kingdom at night. With the timing of your reservation, you may be able to sneak back in on the lull especially since some guests will be leaving to have dinner outside of the park.

I recommend checking with your resort to see what their experience has been. You could then
    1. Skip dinner at Ohana and stay in Magic Kingdom
    2. Visit another park and stick with Ohana
    3. Go ahead with your original plan
    Wishing you a magical vacation!
