Hi-staying at Kidani Villa. Would like to confirm that the rooms come with a coffee maker? Pods or ground coffee? Can't wait-but need my morning coffee!! :-)

    Hi Jennifer!

You’ll be staying at our family’s favorite resort! We love Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas - Kidani Village for it’s warm and welcoming atmosphere, as well as the cultural activities and of course, the animals! I am a night shift nurse, so I totally understand the need to plan one’s caffeine consumption. My husband often teases me that only at Walt Disney World am I able to hop out of bed bright and early, since at home I prefer to sleep in!

You’ll be happy to know that all the rooms at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Villas come with a full size 12 cup coffee maker. You’ll find one filter of regular and decaffeinated coffee in your room, along with basic coffee accompaniments. If you are paying cash for your room, you’ll receive daily Mousekeeping service and these should be replaced daily. If you are staying on Disney Vacation Club Points, or if you like a particular type of coffee, you may wish to bring your own with you. The pots take a standard, flat-bottom 12 cup coffee filter. Since I am particular about my coffee, I enjoy bringing my own filters, grounds, and creamer, so I know I can start my day the way I like!

Another option is to purchase one of the Resort Rapid Fill Mugs from the gift shop. These mugs currently run $16.99 and are good for your length of stay. They can be refilled at resort hotels with soft drinks, tea and of course, coffee! At Kidani Village, you can refill your mug with soft drinks, tea and coffee at Johari Treasures gift shop which is conveniently located next to the main entrance of the resort. You can also get soft drink refills at the pool, and you can take your mug with you to Jambo House if you will be enjoying the pool there, or eating at the Quick Service dining location, The Mara.

I hope this information is helpful, and I wish you a well caffeinated and magical Disney vacation!
