Hi, Our 1st time to Disney World. 6 adults & 7 kids from 2-12 years. Looking for a place for 3 families with rooms with a kitchen & laundry. Not too expensive. Would the Christmas decorations be up by Nov. 28th, 2016?

    Welcome Lou,

I'm so happy that you came to the Moms Panel for advice on planning your first trip to the Walt Disney World Resort.  I know that it can be overwhelming at first, but not to worry.  We'll be here to help you every step of the way.  Christmas starts early at the Walt Disney World Resort, so you'll be there just in time to start your holiday revelry.  Decorations typically start going up around mid November, so you'll be just fine.

The only accommodations at the Walt Disney World Resort that have rooms with kitchens and laundries are the Disney Deluxe Villas with one or more bedrooms.  For a party of your size, you will probably need at least two villas.  For pricing, I suggest checking with David's Vacation Club Rentals at dvcrequest.com. There are also many resorts off of Disney property that can provide the vacation experience that you are looking for at a reasonable cost.

There are only 394 days until your magical trip.  It's never too early to start planning and it will be here before you know it.

    Happy planning,

    Leanne T.
