Hi, My husband and I and our three year old son are coming to Disney in March 14th-21st. I have been looking on the Disney site for all sorts of info. What I want to know is it better to go to a Character breakfast/lunch/dinner to meet with them?

There are character greeting opportunities at various restaurants at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It makes absolutely no difference which of these meals you choose. You'll get the same quality attention from the characters no matter what time of day you dine. At character meals, each character will stop at every table in the restaurant. You'll have time to take photos, have an autograph book signed and "chat" for a moment.

There are, however, a few things to know about:

    - Not every restaurant that has a character meal has characters at every meal. For example, the Cape May Cafe at the Beach Club serves both breakfast and dinner, but the characters only appear at breakfast.

    - You will not necessarily find the same characters at each of the dining times at the same restaurant. For example, at 1900 Park Fare at the Grand Floridian, the breakfast characters are Alice in Wonderland, the Mad Hatter, and Mary Poppins, but dinner at this restaurant features Cinderella, Prince Charming, and Cindy's step-family.

If you go to the website allearsnet.com and search for "character dining" you'll find a list of which characters appear at which meals. I'd make your choice based on character preference and convenience to either your hotel or your park touring plan.

    Happy dining!
