Hi Cindy,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question.
First, your grandchildren are so lucky to enjoy a Disney Cruise Line vacation with two of their very favorite people––their grandparents! Your
family is going to have such a magical time. What a gift!
Now, as to your question. I, too, travel with quite a few prescription medications. Disney Cruise Line asks that Guests
bring prescription medications in original bottles and a copy of the prescriptions, if possible. I'm happy to share what I have found to be an easy way to travel with my medications. I ask my local pharmacists to create a label for a small bottle holding enough of each of my medications for my trip. I still put my pills in a pillbox organizer, but I pack the pill bottles, too. I keep it all in a small bag to keep everything together. Hopefully, you will find a system that works for you. Be sure to pack these items in your carry-on bag rather than your checked luggage.
Cindy, as much fun as you will have with your grandchildren, I hope you plan for them to spend time in the
youth clubs so you and your husband can enjoy some downtime. The areas designed for children, tweens and teens are incredible. I encourage you to visit these amazing spaces with your grandchildren during the open house on embarkation. Just check your
Disney Cruise Line Navigator app for the open house hours.
I hope this information helps you get everything in order so you can sail away with ease. Please let us know if you have other questions; we would be thrilled to assist you with this extra special vacation.
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
