    Hi, My friend and I are planning on running our 1st runDisney event, the 10k on Princess weekend in 2016. I am a DVC member. Am I able to register her along with me during the early booking window or can I only register myself? Thanks!

    I’m so excited that you are going to visit for Disney’s Princess Half Marathon Weekend! I ran the Disney Princess Half Marathon in 2014 and this year I ran in the Glass Slipper Challenge. I really thought the course for the Enchanted 10K was fantastic. Running through Epcot’s World Showcase and Disney’s Boardwalk was a blast, and made the miles go almost too quickly!

    As a Disney Vacation Club Member, you are able to register early for Disney Princess Half Marathon events. This is a Member only benefit however, and you will not be able to register your friend at that time. To register, you will need to sign-in to the Disney Vacation Club Member Website, and under the Membership Magic tab at the top of the page, choose Special Offers. When early registration opens at noon ET on June 30, 2015 there will be a special link available on that page to take you to the registration page. Your friend will need to wait until regular registration on July 14, 2015 at noon ET. I would recommend that she already have herself registered for an active.com account, and that she be prepared to register right at noon that day, since races can and do sell out quickly.
