Hi- My family has been discussing the option of Disney We were considering the cruise option since we have toddlers and then some younger ones (less than 1 and what will be a 1.5 year old). Any feedback from those who have gone with "babies"?

    Ahoy Lisa!

Thank you for cruising by the Disney Parks Moms Panel for some help planning your high seas adventure with your pirates-in-training.  I am so excited to hear you are considering a cruise with Captain Mickey for your family's vacation!  Sailing with Disney Cruise Line is my family's favorite way to travel, I hope it becomes a favorite for you too!

There are so many reasons to choose a Disney cruise to make some memories together with your babies.  First, Captain Mickey has made traveling with little ones so easy, you can expect smooth sailing even with the saltiest of sailors.  Offering complimentary Pack-n-Play portable cribs, high chairs, fresh pureed foods in the rotational dining rooms plus onboard activities for all ages, it is an inclusive vacation option for the youngest Disney fans to the young at heart.  Character experiences, deck parties and events like Jack Jack's Diaper Dash are perfect for you to enjoy together with your little ones!  The best part?  When it is nap time, you don't have to go far from the action, or stop your older pirates from having fun, to return to your stateroom to rest!  My family found cruising easier than visiting the parks when our kids were very young.

The biggest difference for me that sold my husband and I on cruising with little ones was the ability to have some time together on our vacation without our kids.  I know that may sound bad, but parents need a break too!  With the onboard youth clubs and "it's a small world nursery" for your youngest babies, you have the opportunity to spend some grown up time in the adult exclusive areas like the Quiet Cove Pool, Palo and the onboard nightclubs and lounges.

I hope I have steered you toward a perfect vacation for your family, Lisa!  Please cruise back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if you have any additional questions about sailing with Captain Mickey!

Can't wait to "sea" you again!  Angie
