Hi, My family will be arriving at the Contemporary Resort for a nice vacation soon. My grandson will be 2 years old and it’s his first trip. My question is will my daughter be able to order diapers to be delivered to the resort and how do we go about it.

    Hi James!

Thanks for bringing this question to planDisney! With how much diapers take away from that precious packing space, I’m a huge fan of adding those to my grocery delivery. Here’s how your daughter can make it happen.

I recommend that she use her favorite grocery delivery service and set up delivery for her arrival date. It will help if she places the order a few days in advance to give her a better chance at getting the delivery time she’s hoping for.

She’ll want to add her name and phone number to the order, as well as the resort’s address. She can find the address for the Contemporary on the overview page of the resort on Disney World’s website or on the My Disney Experience app. To find the address on the app, click the 3 lines in the bottom right corner, then scroll down to click Hotel Reservations.

When the order is delivered, she can meet the delivery person in the lobby, or the delivery person can leave the order with Bell Services. They can even store refrigerated items, which is so nice!

In addition to diapers, I like to add sunscreen, snacks, breakfast items, and iced coffee to my grocery order. Basically anything bulky or perishable, so I don’t have to worry about packing those items.

It’s also good to note that she’ll be able to find diapers in most resort gift shops and at the Baby Care Centers in the theme parks (pending availability). And not only do the Baby Care Centers have select baby items for sale, they’re also a great place to go for a quiet, air-conditioned break from the hustle and bustle at the parks. They offer comfortable changing and feeding areas, plus a small TV room to relax.

I hope that helps! And that you have the best trip! There’s just nothing quite like seeing Disney World through a little one’s eyes…pure magic! Let us know if any other questions pop up as you continue to plan.
