Hello, Daisylyn!
See the line where the sky meets the sea? It calls me! And no one knows how far it goes. If the wind in my sail on the sea stays behind me, one day I’ll know how far I’ll go! It sounds like the sea has been calling you, too, Daisylyn! I’m so glad you decided to answer that call on a cruise with
Disney Cruise Line. To be sure you go far, let’s ensure you have the required documentation for sailing.
Non-citizen U.S. residents must present an original Permanent Resident Card. Citizens from countries other than Canada and the U.S. must show an original valid passport. Many nations require an entry visa, depending on your nationality. It is the Guest’s responsibility to identify and obtain all necessary visas before starting their cruise. If your country participates in the Visa Waiver Program, you must have a valid, machine-readable passport and obtain 72-hour advance travel authorization through the Electronic System for Travel Authorization before boarding air or sea carriers to the U.S. under the Visa Waiver Program. Bring a copy of the approved ESTA application with you when you travel. You can read more about the documentation required for travel on the U.S. State Department website. You can find the link to the U.S. State Department and more information about required travel documents on the
Passports, Visas, and Citizenship Documentation page.
You are in for such a treat, with a stop in
Disney’s Castaway Cay, my favorite place to visit in the Bahamas! Last time my family visited Castaway Cay, we booked the
Castaway Ray’s Stingray Adventure. This ended up being the highlight of our vacation. It was such an incredible experience getting to snorkel, feed, and even pet some of the stingrays. If you are looking for an adventure during your time at Castaway Cay, I highly recommend the Stingray Adventure.
I wish you smooth seas as you sail with
Disney Cruise Line, Daisylyn! If we can answer any more of your vacation questions, please cruise by
planDisney. We are always here and eager to help!
Happy Sailing!
