Hi Mike,
Welcome to planDisney! Thanks for sailing by with your Disney Cruise Line question, and thank you for your service!
The
Special US Military Rates as it applies to the US National Guard requires that the Guest (or spouse)
provide active-duty orders dated after January 1 of the previous year. I confirmed with a Cast Member that you must have been activated during that time. So, for example, if you would like to book a cruise for December of 2024, active members (or spouses) of the U.S. National Guard or the US Army Reserve must also show active-duty orders dated as of January 1, 2023. If you have specific questions about your qualifications for the Military Discount, I encourage you to
call Disney Cruise Line and speak with a Reservation Specialist Cast Member.
Mike, often these special offers are announced 3-5 months before the cruise, though sometimes you might see them released before that time. I just checked the special offer site and saw many
Very Merrytime Cruises on the list. These cruises are among my favorites! The ship is beautifully decorated and you can enjoy festive events and entertainment. And I love having a photo taken with the Characters dressed in their jolly holiday attire.
I hope this information helps you and your family sail away on a Disney Cruise Line vacation soon, Mike! Let us know if you have other questions; we are happy to assist our fellow Guests!
Wishing you many magical memories,
Shannon
