    Hi Is it possible to request a room in a particular part of the resort before we get there? What are the benefits of checking in online? We are staying at the all stars and did not want to be in the building which is furthest away from the lobby. Thank

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, David! How exciting to hear you have a visit to the Walt Disney World Resort planned! Even better, it's great to hear you will be staying at one the Resort Hotels! 

    You can make a request for your upcoming stay in a few different ways. One way you can do it is to go to the "My Plans" and then "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets" on the My Disney Experience menu on the Walt Disney World Resort website and start the online check-in process up to 60 days prior to arrival. You can select up to two room requests for your upcoming stay. If you prefer to complete the online check-in process on your smartphone or tablet, you can do that by using the My Disney Experience app. 

    Another way to request a room in advance is to call 0800 16 90 730 and a super friendly Cast Member will add notes to your room requests on your reservation.

    One of the benefits of the Online Check-In is that it allows you to save time and have more time to play! Since you will be providing information in advance, that is otherwise normally collected at the Front Desk during the standard process, you can start to "play" sooner! As soon as you arrive at your Disney Resort hotel, you will visit a specially designated location at the lobby (Online Check-in) and will receive you a Welcome Folder and your MagicBand(s).
