Greetings and salutations, Joanna! Thank you for your question.
It looks as though you'll be ringing in the New Year at
Walt Disney World! That's some pretty exciting stuff.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is a pretty sprawling property, beautifully landscaped, brightly colored, with Calypso music surrounding you wherever you go. It has such a great vacation vibe, it's almost like getting two vacations in one - a busy theme park vacation trip and a laid back, relaxing island vacation.
There are rooms at Disney's Caribbean Beach resort that connect. You can make note of your request for connecting when you book your reservation. There's one caveat, Joanna. Room requests cannot be guaranteed. They do try to accommodate requests, so definitely ask, but I'm unable to tell you for sure that you'll be able to get one.
Room assignments for connecting rooms usually take into consideration things like family size. A larger family, especially with minor children, might be given priority over all adults traveling together. I do know, Joanna, that in all of my years of making room requests, I've always gotten what we've needed. Just make sure that you've booked two of the same types of rooms. A standard view room and a preferred view room won't be connecting.
If you want to really celebrate the Caribbean atmosphere, you should try to
reserve a table for dinner at
Sebastian's Bistro. This fixed-price meal is a real steal at only $29, and you'll be immersed in the flavors of the islands.
Enjoy your visit, Joanna!
