Hi, In it's efforts to be sustainable, I was wondering if there were any options moving forward to buy one kids "souvenir" cup at restaurants and be able to refill at other sit-down restaurants for a lower cost?

Hi there, Michelle. Thanks so much for bringing this question to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

The Walt Disney World Resort has been making serious efforts to become more sustainable, including the elimination of single-use plastic straws and the replacement of small toiletries for larger refillable ones in most hotel rooms. Michelle, did you know that Walt Disney World Resort is also optimizing their fleet of transportation vehicles as part of their goal of reducing emissions by 50% in 2020?

While I love the idea of a reusable cup for children at restaurants, this is not currently offered. A souvenir cup is available in many restaurants, but it is not eligible for a refill discount. As the Walt Disney World Resort is always making efforts towards reducing plastic waste, this may change in the future. But Michelle, have you heard about the Rapid Refill Mug? These reusable cups can be refilled as many times as you would like at any Walt Disney World Resort hotel during your say, although they may not be refilled in the theme parks themselves.

I hope that you will have a wonderful vacation, Michelle, and please come back over to the Disney Parks Moms Panel if we can help with any other questions. Have a magical day!
