Welcome to planDisney, Zoila! Let me mix my paints to give you a rainbow of an answer for your upcoming
Walt Disney World Resort visit. The
EPCOT International Festival of the Arts is one of my favorite experiences, and I dabbled there on opening day this year. I love stopping by the artist booths to see the wide variety of styles, so I completely understand that you might be planning to take a piece of this festival home.
I chatted with a paintbrush-wielding Cast Member who suggested you ask about this year's procedures for holding art at
Guest Relations when you arrive at EPCOT. In the past, guests could request that art pieces be held at the park's main entrance or the International Gateway, but the Cast Member wasn't sure if that would be an option this year. Your best bet might be to ask the Cast Members at the booth where you purchase a piece to hold it until you're ready to leave the park.
Sometimes, artwork can be shipped directly to your home from the theme park or your
Disney Resort Hotel. This option can vary depending on the specific piece and artist, so please be sure to ask about shipping at the time of purchase if that's something you'd be interested in.
I know art is the main attraction at this festival, but I'm excited to try some of the food offerings. The
Wonderful Walk of Colorful Cuisine looks like a delectable activity. The Tomato Soup with Grilled Cheese at the Pop Eats Food Studio is a favorite of mine. Last year, it was served in a soup can!
Zoila, I hope your upcoming visit is colorful and magical. Please
stop by planDisney anytime. My paintbrush is always ready to make art!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
