    Hi, I'm vegan and have heard amazing stories of Chef TJ. I also know he moves around a lot. Can anyone tell me where he currently works and what days he works there?

    Hi, Rebecca!  If they say that Disney Vacation Club is Disney's BEST kept secret, Chef TJ is probably the worst kept secret!  He has developed a following of such diehard fans, he can't make a move anywhere at Walt Disney World without Disney foodies and vegetarians hunting him - and his amazing culinary abilities - down.

    All of my recent research indicates Chef TJ is creating his culinary masterpieces at Trail's End at the Fort Wilderness Campground.  He also caters to special dietary needs at the Hoop Dee Doo Musical Revue, located just next door, but if you are hoping to snag a Chef TJ multi-course vegan meal, your chances are better at Trail's End.  The timing of the show at the Hoop Dee Doo just doesn't allow for the full Chef TJ experience.

    While I am convinced there isn't anything Chef TJ can't work his magic on, vegan cuisine is where he really shines.  I have heard legendary stories of coconut curry chowder, barbecue potatoes, crispy tofu, carrot ginger soup - Chef TJ is a master of his craft!  

    Unfortunately, I can't tell you what days he works due to changes in his schedule at Walt Disney World, and even with a more regular schedule of days off, there are no guarantees that Chef TJ is working on any given day.  While he does go out of his way when he is there, there also isn't a set menu that he works with, and there may be limitations as to what he can do due to commitments to other diners.  

    I wish you good luck in tracking down this king of vegan cuisine during your upcoming vacation.
