Hi, Im trying to make reservations in advance for dinner for 4 nights. (6 adults and 2 children 8 & 11. We've purchased the dining plan. Do you have any recommendations? Also, any suggestions about the best character breakfast to go to? Thanks, Roz

    Hi Roslyn,

Thanks so much for bringing me your great question! I LOVE thinking about all of the delicious Table-service dining options at the Walt Disney World Resort and would be happy to share with you some of my favorite restaurants!

First, Liberty Tree Tavern and 'Ohana are both fantastic all-you-can-eat family style dinners. The Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake at Liberty Tree Tavern is one of my favorite desserts ever, and if you have any meat lovers in your party, the endless skewers of beef, chicken, and shrimp at 'Ohana are sure to please. If you enjoy a little fun with your dinner, I'd suggest Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, Biergarten Restaurant, Whispering Canyon Cafe, or Raglan Road Irish Pub and Restaurant. A few other favorite restaurants of mine are Beaches & Cream Soda Shop (be sure to save room for a Kitchen Sink!), Trail's End Restaurant, and Jungle Navigation Co. Ltd. Skipper Canteen. Yum...I'm suddenly feeling hungry!

As far as a great Character breakfast, you can't go wrong with Chef Mickey's or Cinderella's Royal Table! My family also loved Tusker House Restaurant, Crystal Palace, and Cape May Cafe. I've heard wonderful things about the Bon Voyage Adventure Breakfast at Trattoria al Forno, and can't wait to try it myself!

I know I gave you a lot to think about, Roslyn, but I don't think you'll go wrong with any of the restaurants I've suggested. Menus are available online for each of the restaurants, so I hope you have a fun time resEARching and deciding! The crazy thing is that there are still dozens more yummy places that I didn't mention! Have fun choosing, and have a magical...and delicious...vacation!
