Hi, I'm planning a trip for my girlfriend's birthday on May 29, 2024 and I can't seem to book tickets right now. Is there a closure on that day? Also, are there any tips you'd suggest for a fun romantic day at the park? Thanks!! Javier

    Bienvenue, Prince Javier!

Ah,l'amour! Much like everybody's favorite snowman, I consider myself to be a bit of a love expert, so you've come to the right place! My Prince Charming and I have celebrated many milestones at the Disney Parks, including the time he proposed in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle. But like, no pressure Javier, ok?

Now, let's get you those theme park tickets! As of now, I can see admission tickets available for sale until mid-June, and I was able to find two Park Hopper tickets for May 29th.

Now, as far as romantic ways to celebrate, the possibilities are as endless as your imagination, Javier! I think the Disneyland Resort is the perfect place to celebrate 'la romance'! First things first, grab a celebration button at City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A. Wear it throughout your stay, and any cast member who sees you will sprinkle some extra pixie dust and well-wishes your way!

And Javier, if you're stressed, it's fine dining I'd suggest. The Blue Bayou Restaurant is a very elegant spot for special occasions. My husband and I shared our first anniversary meal there, and I can almost smell the barge water now, with firefly lights twinkling as the Pirates of the Caribbean boats drift by. And, of course, the mouthwatering flavors of the Crescent City gracing our plates– a true feast for the senses! But, Blue Bayou reservations can be as coveted as a chest of doubloons. So dining reservations are best made 60 days before your visit online. But I've had luck as a walk-up guest too.

Javier, I've always had a soft spot for the fudge-y decadence of the Mickey Mouse Celebration Cake to make any feast more special. You order this treat at nearly all romantic dine-in spots. Besides the Blue Bayou, there's Café Orléans and River Belle Terrace. And if you happen to venture over to Disney California Adventure Park, try the Wine Country Trattoria or the Lamplight Lounge, overlooking the romantic lake where you might catch the emotional World of Color nighttime spectacular.

If you're in New Orleans Square, consider getting a caricature of you and your princess done by one of the talented artists for a unique keepsake. And don't forget, the Disney PhotoPass photographers are always ready to help you capture a loving moment. Photos at Snow White's well and along the Seven Dwarfs' bridge at the side of Sleeping Beauty's Castle are less common but perfect for a snapshot of you two sharing Love's True Kiss.

I hope these ideas help you make all your dreams come true for your True Love's birthday, Javier. Can't wait to see you celebrating your Happily Ever After at Disneyland! Please feel free to fall back down the rabbit hole to visit me again anytime. I'd love to share more of my favorite tips to help make your Disney dreams come true!

A very merry unbirthday to you,
    Danielle
