Hi Karla,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I completely understand wanting a vacation without the hustle and bustle of the theme parks, but still with the magic that only Disney can provide.
Disney’s Vero Beach Resort is an old-fashioned hideaway located on the Atlantic Treasure Coast. It is the perfect relaxing getaway with the beautiful beach just steps away. There are several options for the kids to participate in some
fun activities during your stay, such as a Sing-Along Campfire, participating in crafts, swimming in the pool, sliding down the 163-foot Pirate’s Plunge waterslide, exploring and collecting seashells along the beach, and going on a kayaking adventure. You will receive the activity schedule upon arrival, as the schedules are created on a week-to-week basis. There are also
programs designed specifically for kids ages 3 to 19, where they can take part in scavenger hunts, arts and crafts, games, and outdoor activities. It is also a great opportunity for your kids to make some new friends while on vacation!
There currently is not a meal plan option for Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. You can indulge in some fabulous fresh Florida seafood and locally sourced produce at
Wind and Waves Grill or enjoy a swashbuckling good time at the Pirate Night Dinner at Seagrape. The Front Desk Cast Member will provide you with a list of local restaurants upon your arrival, though the closest dining will be at least eight miles away from the resort.
I hope you enjoy a magical and relaxing getaway at Disney’s Vero Beach Resort! Please stop back by if we can help answer any more of your vacation questions.
