Hi Sireesh,
I'm happy to hear that you and your family will be visiting central Florida...and soon! You're only a little over a week away from your vacation, and I bet you're getting super duper excited!
I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting a visit to Walt Disney World Resort added to your itinerary. With the
phased reopening, Disney is limiting the number of Guests allowed into the parks each day to keep everyone as safe as possible. I just checked the
availability calendar for May 22nd, and you're correct - there is currently no availability in any of the theme parks. Because Disney Park Pass reservations are required to enter the parks, I actually wouldn't recommend showing up that morning and trying to buy tickets on-site, though. I'd encourage you to keep your eye on the availability calendar and if anything changes (which is certainly possible; Guests change their plans all the time!),
buy your tickets and
make your reservations at that point.
I'm not sure how much flexibility you have with your vacation, but there are several days later that week with select theme park availability. With the
Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival going on, a visit to EPCOT would be wonderful! Of course, if you add the
Park Hopper option to your tickets, you could visit Magic Kingdom Park after 2 PM after enjoying another theme park earlier in the day. Did you know, too, that no reservations are required to visit
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park or
Disney Springs? Those are some other ways you could incorporate a bit of Disney magic into your trip if you're not able to find availability at the theme park of your choosing.
However you decide to spend your vacation, I'm sending pixie dust that it works out perfectly! Thanks so much for visiting us at planDisney and bringing me your question, Sireesh. I hope you and your Mouseketeers have a truly magical vacation!
Missy
