Hi- I’d like to reassign a child’s ticket in my reservation to the mother of the child. Can I?

Hey Howdy Hey Susan and welcome to planDisney!

Thank you for stopping by with your question about reassigning a child's ticket. I will do my best to navigate you through your options.

One of the easiest ways to modify things linked to a child's account is to have the plans shared with managed profiles. Go to your My Disney Experience account and look for the "My Family & Friends" heading to click on. Click on the child's name and under the options you should see that the child's mother is listed as well as someone who can manage their account. As long as both of you have privileges to manage the child's account, you should also be able to modify and change the theme park tickets associated with their profiles.

Next, you want to go to the "My Plans" section and look for "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets". Look for the heading "My Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker" to click on. From there, you should be given a list of your profiles that you manage with tickets linked. To the right, you should also see a drop-down menu with the ability to reassign tickets. If both you and the child's mother have access to managing their profiles, both of you should be able to access the child's ticket from this point and you should not have to reassign to the mother. If for some reason you have access and she does not, you can reassign the ticket to her.

The type of ticket and other factors might give you an issue when it comes to reassigning them. If you are unable to reassign from your app or account, you may have to call Disney and speak to a Cast Member about getting this process done for you. If you are on-site, you can feel free to visit the front desk or any ticket window before entering the parks where they can do this for you. Either way, this should be a quick and easy process so you can get back to enjoying your vacation!

    Have a Magical day,
