    HI! I was wondering if any more information has been given about the photo opportunity with Figment in Epcot? My family is going in July and was hoping he'd be open soon. thanks! Emily B.

    Hi there, Emily!

    Welcome to planDisney. And thanks for bringing your question our way. 

    The dictionary defines a figment as a fantastic notion, but at Walt Disney World Resort, a dream can be a dream come true as the Disney Parks Blog announced Guests will get a chance to hug long-time EPCOT icon, Figment! Although we do not yet have an exact date, it was revealed that it would be later this summer at the Imagination Pavilion. I recommend keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog, as they'll be among the first to share the exciting news. 

    In the meantime, I hope you have a wonderful time allowing Figment to become your guide as you experience the sensory labs of Imagination Institute on Journey Into Imagination With Figment. You may also see some adorable Figment merchandise just outside of the ImageWorks - The "What If" Labs as you exit the attraction. It's hard not to love a Figment plush! 

    I'll be sending you and your family lots of pixie dust in the hope you get to hug our favorite purple dragon!
