Hi Susan,
Welcome back to planDisney! It sounds like your plans for an incredible summer vacation to
Disney World are coming together, I'm so glad you're looking at logistics now so you can maximize the magic! Let's dive into Disney Transportation.
My family loves booking a Character Meal outside the theme parks - it's a great way to enjoy special Character interactions. One of my favourite memories is when my daughters met Snow White and The Queen over at
Story Book Dining at Artist Point - their reactions were priceless! If you're dining at Disney's Grand Floridian, afterwards, you can hop on a bus that will take you directly to
Disney Springs. Buses run approximately every 20 minutes and once aboard, the ride is usually 15-20 minutes. You can easily map out your route and check transportation times on the My Disney Experience Mobile App by using the search icon (magnifying glass), entering your destination and clicking "Get Directions".
If you're heading to the Polynesian Resort from the Grand Floridian, you have a few fun options. If you'd like to stretch your legs follow the signs for the scenic walking path connecting the two resorts. You can also hop on the
Monorail, which makes multiple stops, or my personal favourite - take the boat! It’s quick, convenient, and offers beautiful views of Seven Seas Lagoon along the way.
I hope this information is helpful to your vacation planning, Susan. If you have any other questions, please feel free to swing by planDisney again -
I'd love to help!
Happy planning,
Candace
