    HI,i will be visiting wdw in april with my son who will be 5 and also first time visitor i am looking for something really special to celebrate his birthday any suggestions

    Hi, Stephanie! Congratulations to your son on his first visit to Walt Disney World! One awesome free way to start his day is to have Goofy call your Walt Disney World resort and wish him a happy birthday.  To arrange this, simply call 407-824-2222.  It is also free to pick up a birthday button at your resort or at Guest Services in any theme park.  You may want to plan a character meal on his birthday!  You could also plan to have a cake delivered to any table-service restaurant (except Victoria and Albert's).  The six-inch birthday cake is about $21.00.  It requires 48 hours notice.  Call the Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253.  You can choose chocolate or vanilla, the filling, icing, and personalize the decorations.  If you want to go all out, you can contact Disney Dream Makers at 407-939-4438 to set up a birthday-theme room decoration.  Happy planning and have a Magical vacation!
