    Hi I have two question we are visiting for 3 weeks in December, 2015 1 : Is both the water parks open as Blizzard Beach are not showing any times on the web site 2 : Does Fantasmic show every evening over at Hollywood Studios. As park closes at 8p

    Hi Tracy,

    Three weeks at Walt Disney World sounds like a dream come true!  I'm sure you're having a blast making your pixie-dusted vacation plans.

    During the winter months, one of the two water parks is often closed for regular refurbishment.  Looking at the official calendar, you're correct that Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park is scheduled to be closed during December when you're there.  The complete dates projected are October 25, 2015-January 2, 2016.  Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park will remain open (weather permitting) then, though it is then scheduled for its own refurbishment from January 3, 2016 - March 12, 2016.  If you're staying at a Disney Resort hotel, you'll also have the great pool options available to you there, and those pools are all heated so you can enjoy them even when it's chilly outside.

    You don't mention the exact dates in December you'll be visiting, so I looked at the current calendar for the entire month and Fantasmic! is scheduled every evening except December 2, 2015 and December 9, 2015.  Keep in mind that since the show is held outdoors, it can be cancelled if the weather isn't cooperating that night.  Also, you're correct that Disney's Hollywood Studios is scheduled to close at 8:00 p.m. on most nights, but not all.  Here are the dates when earlier or later closing times are currently planned.

    December 2 and 9, 2015: 6:00 p.m. closing
    December 6, 13 and 24, 2015: 10:00 p.m. closing for Extra Magic Hours (still 8:00 p.m. for Guests not staying at a Disney Resort hotel)
    December 31, 2015: midnight closing (or 2:00 a.m. for Extra Magic Hours)

    Just be sure to pick up a Times Guide when you arrive to confirm final park hours and show times.
