Hi, I will travel to Disney (Orlando) with friends and family, and one of us have a problem and need a EVC. I would like to now if in Disney Hotel and Resorts we need some help to rent a EVC and a car to transport it (all the time in Orlando)?

    Andre,

So ECVs can be rented at the Disney parks. But it sounds like you are needing something for your entire stay?

It also sounds from your question like you are thinking that to have one during your entire stay you would have to rent a car, then go to an area business to pick one up, then return it. But you really don't. There are a number of Orlando businesses that will rent you an ECV for the duration of your stay. They will even drop it off at your Disney resort on your arrival day, and pick it up when you are leaving.

I have not rented one myself, but the company that I have heard the best compliments about is Care Medical Equipment.

Now if you are worrying about getting around Disney with an ECV, no worries. The buses, boats, and monorails are equipped with ramps and locking systems so that you can all travel together, helping avoid the cost of renting a car.

A final note. One of the things that I love about Walt Disney World is that they believe that EVERYONE should enjoy their vacation. Just because someone in your party needs an ECV does not mean that they don't deserve to have as much fun as the rest of us. I agree.

I hope that this addresses your question. If not, please write us back!

    Have a magical vacation!
