Ahoy, Wayne!
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! You've come to the right place for help with your Disney vacation plans. I love that you are sandwiching a voyage with Captain Mickey in the middle of a split stay at the Walt Disney World Resort! Talk about magical! It's always hard for me to leave a Disney ship, but heading back to enjoy more time in the theme parks is the best way to handle any post cruise blues.
Packing can be a challenge when planning for surf and turf fun, Wayne. The last I checked, luggage cannot be left at Bell Services when leaving Disney property for a Disney Cruise. The good news is that Disney Cruise Line does allow each Guest two bags plus a carry-on so hopefully this will cover everything you are bringing. If you are utilizing
Disney Cruise Line ground transportation from the Walt Disney World Resort to Port Canaveral and back, the wonderful Cast Members will pick up your luggage directly from your resort room and return it there once it arrives back from the ship, and the porters at Port Canaveral will do the heavy lifting there. As you pack, I suggest all your cruise attire in one or two bags so you don't have to unpack a lot for your three-night getaway. The space under the bed in your stateroom will provide ample storage for your extra luggage. I'm always pleasantly surprised at how much I can fit under there because I always over pack!
Wayne, I hope my suggestions help! If you have any other questions about your land and sea adventure, please let us know.
Have a magical day!
Nancy
