    Hi, I stayed at the contemporary and loved it I liked it for the stores to buy water, soda etc. I can't decide on the Beach Club or Yacht Club. Do these resort have stores like the contemporary? Which resort would you recommend. Thanks for your hel

    Hi Margaret,

    I love those mini-mart style shops in some of the Disney resorts, they make shopping for supplies super easy. While all the Disney hotels offer some basic packaged snacks and beverages in either their gift shop or food court, the hotels with attached Disney Vacation Club villas offer a much more substantial selection. As you've discovered, since the Contemporary has the attached Bay Lake Tower DVC villas, it has one of the larger shops.

    The other resorts that include mini-mart style gift shops include: Saratoga Springs, Animal Kingdom Lodge, Wilderness Lodge, Grand Floridian, Old Key West, Boardwalk, and Beach Club. The Yacht Club is attached to the Beach Club and you'd be welcome to shop at the BC store if you stayed at the YC, but if you want to maximize convenience, then the Beach Club is the way to go. The Beach Club is actually my family's favorite resort for many reasons, in addition to the shop, we LOVE the pool and the incredibly quick walk to Epcot.
