Hi there, Valerie!
Welcome to planDisney. I'm thrilled to hear about your upcoming visit to
Walt Disney World Resort this July. Let's talk through all the details so you're prepared for your most magical vacation!
I know how exciting it is to wake up bright and early on a park day ready to tackle a list of attractions, snacks and experiences. I wouldn't want to delay a second of the magic by having to stop at the ticket booth if I could avoid it. Luckily, you will be able to retrieve your tickets before that first magical morning.
Head to the
Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs on or before your check-in date to pick up your passes. A Cast Member will be there to assist and can answer any questions you might have. They should also be able to help set up a Disney MagicMobile pass on your smartphone if compatible. International guests may not always have access to the My Disney Experience Mobile App before arriving stateside, but you might discover it's available once you've landed. If not, park maps are available at the entrance to each theme park and the Guest Experience Team, stationed under blue umbrellas in the parks, will be glad to assist. I visited them myself when my app didn't quite cooperate during a visit last year.
Once you're ready to check-in at
Disney's All-Star Movies Resort you can enjoy the resort amenities without interruption. Splash around the
Fantasia Pool, snap some fun photos with the colorful character figures around the resort grounds and fuel up at
World Premiere Food Court (no Disney trip is complete without an order of Mickey-shaped waffles or a Mickey's Premium Ice Cream Bar). I'd also recommend visiting the Front Desk for the activity schedule so you're prepared to enjoy Movies Under the Stars and roast marshmallows around the campfire during your stay.
I hope this was helpful Valerie! If we can answer any additional questions be sure to come back and let us know.
Magic and memories,
Amy
