Hi-- I am a single mom traveling with my 15-year old (somewhat shy) daughter and a friend of mine. We would like to dine one night in the Adults Only area...what will my daughter do for dinner on that night? Will she make friends easily in Vibe?

Verena, welcome aboard! You will certainly have a very nice time on your Disney cruise with your friend and your daughter.

I'm so glad you are going to make reservations for Palo for dinner. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is just wonderful! While you are off enjoying your adult exclusive dining with your friend, your daughter has many options! She can go to your regular dining rotation for that night, but I doubt she'd want to sit at the table on her own. So, another option is for her to eat at the buffet with some friends from Vibe! If it's still early on and she isn't comfortable finding friends to eat with and doesn't want to dine at the buffet alone, she can also order complimentary room service, (I suggest tipping a few dollars though).

The Vibe is such a great spot for the teens on Disney's ships. I'd recommend that your daughter go to the very first few events on night one at Vibe. It's those first events where the teens get to meet each other and tend to form quick friendships and groups. It's much easier to go then when no one knows each other, than later when groups have already formed. Most teens absolutely love their time at Vibe, the friends they meet and all the opportunities to get together outside of Vibe throughout the cruise.

Have a wonderful trip, Verena! Let me know if you have any other questions before you set sail!
