Hi Amber, welcome to planDisney! It's fantastic to have you here with us. During our class of 2024 planDisney training, we had the opportunity to dine at
California Grill, which was a tremendous experience! The food, ambiance, and view were all magical, and the unobstructed view of Main Street, U.S.A. and Cinderella Castle made it one of the best fireworks dining experiences at the
Walt Disney World Resort.
I'm sure your family will have a terrific time.
Here's some good news: Guests who have previously dined in the evening at California Grill can return to watch
Happily Ever After from the 15th floor. After your meal, you can explore Disney's Contemporary Resort and then return to the check-in podium with your dining receipt to enjoy the show.
There's an alternative location for fireworks viewing for Guests with reservations after the show or for Disney Resort Guests visiting
Disney's Contemporary Resort for shopping or other dining experiences. You can head to the north end of the 4th-floor Grand Canyon Concourse, just past the Concourse Sundries and Spirits shop, and exit the doors to the exterior. From the viewing area, you'll be able to see Cinderella Castle and the
Magic Kingdom and enjoy the synchronized nighttime spectacular display with the background music and sounds. I've seen the fireworks shows from both locations, and I can assure you that you can't go wrong with either.
Amber, since you're dining early, I highly recommend trying the 15th-floor observation deck. It's not just a viewing spot, it's an exclusive and breathtaking vantage point that offers a unique perspective of the fireworks. It's an experience you don't want to miss!
I hope this information helps you plan your visit. If you have any other questions or need any assistance,
don't hesitate to let us know. We're always here to help, and it's our pleasure to help friends like you.
Cheers
Nilson
