Hi,I am planning a trip for my family of 6,2adults and 4 kids(11,8,4,2) and I am wondering what our options are for accommodations, looking for a value or best priced and also are we considered a table of 6 and have added gratuity to our bill . Thank You

    Hi Stefani,

There are lots of great accommodation options for families of six. There are two-bedroom villas, but those tend to be pricey. On the less expensive side are family suites. These are available at the All Star Music resort and the brand new Art of Animation resort. These feature two rooms, two bathrooms, and a kitchenette with mini refrigerator and microwave.

Another good option is the cabins at Fort Wilderness. These are moderately priced and differ from the family suites in that they have only one bathroom, but instead have a full-sized kitchen and tons of outdoor space for the kids to run around.

Still another choice would be a single room in one of the deluxe hotels. The rooms fit up to five people PLUS one child under the age of three sleeping in a crib. Since your little one is under age three, this might work for you. The advantage here would be the location and amenities of the resort itself. The deluxe hotels are closer to the theme parks, have better transportation options, more on-site dining, and larger pools with more unique features.

When dining, your family would be considered a party of six, even though your youngest is under three and will not be charged for meals in many table service situations. Because you are a party of six, you will have an 18% gratuity automatically added to your bill at table service restaurants.

Good luck with your planning and please let us know if you have additional questions.
