Hi, I am leaving to Disney this Friday , may the 5t. My hôtel, the Confort Inn un Kissemee just inform us that our shuttle is not going to the four parks every day and we are wondering if we should take a cab every day and how much it will cost.

    Sylvie,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

It is unfortunate that you don't have a shuttle taking you to and from the four different parks each day, but I am sure you will be able to get to the magic. It just may take a bit of extra work!

A quick way to get an estimate on what a taxi charge might be from your hotel to each park is to visit the Mears Taxi website. They will let you drop in the hotel starting point and the destination, and from there it will give you a quote. This is also a great place to reserve a ride for the days when you would need one. This is especially important, since catching a cab in the morning to one of the parks can be a bit tough since there are so many people calling for one at the same time.

There are a few Comfort Inn hotels in Kissimmee, so I picked one and checked the fare from there to each of the four parks. Prices ranged from just under $20 USD to a bit over $40 USD. But please know that this is not an official quote, and Disney has nothing to do with what is charged. Prices can also vary over time, so think of this just as a starting point for estimating your costs. You will want to go to them, or another cab company directly to see what the charge might be for your dates and routes. Another important point to remember is that a gratuity is not included in those figures and would certainly be expected. So, feel free to calculate the revised cost based on what you think you might tip.

    RECOMMENDATION
Please make sure you reserve a cab ahead of time for any morning and evening ride needs. You don't want to spend an hour standing around waiting for something to be available!

    BONUS TIP #1
The fare to the Magic Kingdom is likely to be the highest, and the fare to Disney's Hollywood Studios the lowest, simply because of distance from your hotel.

    BONUS TIP #2
You can also reserve an Uber or Lyft car for your travels. Consider pricing those out before you commit to anything. Sometimes they will be far less expensive, but the availability of drivers, as well as their flexible pricing by time and date may not make that a reality when you need them.

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.
