Hi! I have a dining reservation at 4:05 at Skipper Canteen and only have a MNSCHP ticket at 4:00. I am concerned I will not be able to make it to reservation on time. Is there any way I would be able to go into park earlier to make the reservation?

    Hiya Elisha,

I am so glad you stopped by planDisney with your great question. It won't be long now until your Walt Disney World vacation. A big ole Kungaloosh! How exciting that you were able to snag a reservation at the very popular Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen. This is one of our favorite table service locations at Walt Disney World. Not only are the Skippers full of interesting facts and real zingers that are quite "punny", the food is a delicious blend of African, Asian and South American flavors. Be sure to try the Brazilian cheese bread. Sometimes I order two so I do not have to share.

The only thing better than scoring this reservation, is kicking off your Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party with this dining experience. You will have plenty of time to walk off your meal and enjoy Magic Kingdom, as this special ticket event allows guests to enjoy the attractions, special nighttime entertainment and special character interactions until midnight. You will not be able to enter Magic Kingdom until 4:00pm EST on the day of your party, however there is no reason to worry about missing out on that cheese bread. Walt Disney World restaurants typically hold reservations up to fifteen minutes past your reservation. Plus, the restaurant is not that far from the entrance gates.

I would plan on arriving at Magic Kingdom a little before 4:00pm EST. This way you will be right at the gate and ready to enter at the allotted time. Once inside, head directly down Main Street U.S.A. towards Casey's Corner. Take a left at Casey's Corner, cross over the bridge by Crystal Palace and then take an immediate left into Adventureland. The restaurant is just a few more paces down on your right.

I hope this helps. Don't forget to grab a spot for Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. It's spooktacular! Please stop back and see me if you have any additional vacation planning questions.

Hope to see ya real soon,
    Margaret
