Greetings, Holly Elizabeth, and thank you for bringing this spit-spot question to planDisney! It sounds like you'll be arriving from across the pond soon, so let's talk all things
Lightning Lanes!
In general, guests staying at Disney Resort Hotels are eligible to purchase and book Lightning Lane passes
7 days before they arrive; all other guests can buy them at the 3-day mark. This applies to both multi and single passes, as well as the Lightning Lane Premier Pass.
Since the
Lightning Lane Single Passes are often reserved for the most popular attractions, they do tend to sell out quickly. And since resort guests can book for the length of their stay (up to 10 days) at the 7-day window, folks checking in before you have already had the opportunity to purchase them.
Another thing to keep in mind is that
our UK pals typically cannot purchase Lightning Lane passes until they arrive in the US and download the
My Disney Experience mobile app. I'm not sure where you are writing from, but if you're outside the US, my tip is to be ready to download that app and purchase your passes the second you touch down! And look for availability later in your visit to see the best options. Finally, keep checking; guests often change their plans, so sometimes spots open up.
You're so lucky to be visiting during Florida's gorgeous springtime! I think the perfect way to end your enchanting day at Magic Kingdom Park is to catch the
Disney Starlight: Dream the Night Away parade. This twinkling procession will tug any Disney fan's heartstrings!
Holly Elizabeth, I know your holiday will be practically perfect in every way! Please stop by
planDisney anytime; winds in the east, mist coming in!
Magic awaits,
Elaine
