Hello Meg and welcome to planDisney!
I guess in the grand scheme of things waiting another week isn't a big deal, but I don't think I could tell my kids this information! Their countdown excitement would be bursting through the ceiling and I'm not sure if I could get them to wait a few more days! Hopefully, if you have little people in your party, they don't have a countdown watch ticking and you'll be able to move your memorable vacation to
Walt Disney World Resort without any problems!
Meg, as long as you're more than 30 days away from your check-in date you should be able to modify your vacation package without any fees as long as that package is still available. To complete this process, head to your
My Disney Experience account. From here, you'll click on "My Plans" to populate any existing reservations you have. Here, you'll be able to click a "Change Reservations" link where you should be able to change your dates as long as there is availability.
If you need any more help, feel free to call and speak with a Cast Member at (407) 939-1936 to modify your vacation package.
Just make sure to modify your
Theme Park Reservations after your change your dates! Now, Walt Disney World Resort requires all Guests over the age of three to have both a valid
Theme Park Ticket and Theme Park Reservation to enter their first Theme Park of the day. You don't want to forget to make new Theme Park Reservations, as these will not transfer over to your new dates.
While you're visiting, please eat a Mickey Premium Ice Cream Bar for me. I'm usually at the Resort for Spring Break but it wasn't in the cards this year and I'm definitely missing it!
Have a magical vacation!
