Hi, I am coming to DisneyWorld for my honeymoon and need help with what I need to book. We have been before but with parents so have never had to book anything ourselves before. I need as much advice/tips/help as possible.

Welcome, Melissa to planDisney! Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! I am thrilled for you, and that you want to begin your happily ever after at The Most Magical Place on Earth! May is the month I also got married, it's such a wonderful time of year. I can't wait to help guide you on this honeymoon journey!

Melissa, we will start with the basics first: your resort! If you are looking to be close by to Disney's Magic Kingdom Park and a quick monorail ride away to Disney's EPCOT Park, I recommend Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. The rooms here were just remodeled, and you have the romantic opportunity of watching Disney Enchantment, right from the beach! If you are looking for a quiet, secluded resort, I recommend Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge. Waking up each morning to the animals grazing on the savanna will truly make you feel like you are on a safari in Kenya! It is so beautiful, and the rooms here were remodeled as well. Both are excellent locations!

Next, we'll head on to some other important details: dining and activities! For a wonderful dinner for two, make a reservation at California Grill, located at Disney's Contemporary Resort, or Yachtsman Steakhouse, located at Disney's Yacht Club. Both have wonderful menus (the creme brulee at Yachtsman is divine!) and the wonderful fact about both is that they are very close to Magic Kingdom and EPCOT, so going back to the parks to watch the fireworks or catch some rides make them both great choices! The recently reopened The Grand Floridian Spa at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is also another great option for an off-park day. You can indulge in a luxurious massage and spa pedicure for two, and grab a cocktail and appetizers after at Enchanted Rose Lounge before heading to another great dining option, Narcoosee's. If you are feeling up to splurging, I suggest a dessert party reservation at Magic Kingdom. Honeymooning, watching fireworks, all while seated at great seats with sweets and libations? Check!

Melissa, I hope you have the most magical wedding and best wishes! Enjoy starting your happily ever after at Walt Disney World, dreams really do come true when you wish upon a star!
