Hi I booked a holiday to disney and included the Disney Dining Plan. I would like to book the characters dining online but I can't see where I specify that my booking is part of the DDP. How does it work and should I call instead? Any help would be great!

Great question, as this can all be very confusing!

First off, your Disney Dining Plan and any Advanced Dining Reservations run independently. You don't have to tell a Disney restaurant that you are paying for the meal with your Disney Dining Plan until you are sitting down to eat.

What you do want to do is make sure that the restaurants you select are part of the program. You can check by printing out the Dining Plan brochure for the plan you selected.

I am glad to answer any follow-up questions that you may have. Feel free to send me a questions with a list of the dining you have planned, and I can confirm if they are a character meal or not.

Have a magical (and delicious) vacation!
