    Hi I see that from the 12 August 19, that NBA Experience is to start at Disney springs, do you have to participate or can you just spectate in the arena. Because the tickets on sale seem to suggest that you are paying to participate.

    Hi there, Jimmy! The NBA Experience is set to tip-off this summer at Disney Springs on August 12.  My teenage boys have been ready to drive to the hoop ever since Disney Imagineers released the concept art nearly two years ago. The facility boasts 13 interactive, hands-on activities that span across 44,000 square feet and two floors, allowing Guests of all ages the chance to try out the life of an NBA player!

    Tickets to the NBA Experience are now on sale, and they are available wherever Walt Disney World tickets are sold, including the Walt Disney World website or any Walt Disney World ticket window.  All Guests will need a ticket to enter, whether they plan to participate or not, but I encourage you to walk through the players' tunnel or to go brush up on your shooting and dribbling skills. Kids ages 14 and older can be unaccompanied as long as they have a signed waiver from a parent or guardian, so if you have teenage children, you can also do your spectating from the nearby City Works Eatery & Pour House without paying an admission fee, and nosh on some wings or flatbreads while you're waiting.
